We have a number of clients who are seeking directories, titles that come out monthly, annually or bi-ennially (guides, best of, yearly reviews, etc), and/or reference materials that are updated regularly in editions (first, twelfth, twentieth). With a company of these materials, your sales would be at a small premium to market value. Individual titles will sell for full value (less obsolete inventory, of course).
An online database function would be a bonus, and if not, the raw data permitting the use/lease/sale of the online database information would be a bonus… assume the buyer is capable of making the conversions… you don’t have to. Of course, if your work gives an opportunity to maintain the currency of the database, a buyer will pay a premium for that functionality.
Specific subjects include Non Profits, Grants and Foundation Awards, Travel Guides, Price Guides, Collectibles, Financial Information, Demographics, Legal, Accounting, or other professional updating services, almost anything that is non fiction and provides an aggregate of information on a regular basis, from months to years.
As well, fiy ou have the database and DO NOT have a hard copy publication, but would be interesting in licensing your database for both online and/or hard copy sales, do let us know promptly.
